The DNA polymerases are enzymes that are responsible for synthesis of DNA molecules from deoxy ribonucleotides. These enzymes are essential for DNA replication they work in pairs to create two identical DNA strands. In replication process, enzyme “reads” the existing DNA strands to construct two new strands that match the existing ones. Antibodies, primers and buffers are other reagents used along with DNA polymerase in DNA replication.
