HFC Refrigerants Market Stated as Sustainability Pillar having Potential to save Ozone Depleting

The world has won a major battle against the pollutants, by phasing out chemicals by utilizing the HFC refrigerants market. But still there might raise new challenges in the area, so to phase down the chemicals that subsidiaries been used as alternative.

Under the amendment, all countries will gradually phase down HFC refrigerants market, by more than 80% over the next 30 years and replace them with more eco-friendly alternatives. HFC’s which are generally used as coolants in air conditioning and refrigeration, do not deplete the ozone layer like HFC hydrocholoflurocarbon, but are extremely potent greenhouse gases. HCFCs were the gases causing the ozone hole, and have been almost totally phased out. 

There is a significant development in thermoelectric cooling systems. This technology utilizes electricity via semi-conductor materials to produce a heat flow effect. The technology does not require a refrigerant to produce a heat flow effect and does not require a compressor or moving parts.  The main advantage at this stage is that the efficiency of operation is much lower than conventional refrigerators systems. At present the technology is already available and in use for special refrigeration supply applications such as cooling of high output computing systems and some medical equipment. Further the development of the technology will be increasing application possibilities for this technology. 

Considering adoption of new HFC automotive refrigerant, to ensure the plant can operate fir its rated design life without the need for replacement or significant modification. Exploring of natural refrigerator systems to see whether these can be utilized instead of flour based different refrigerants. These will provide sustainability benefits in the leading world of consuming energy. Rising environmental concern is the major reason for growing adoption of HFCs in the industry. The report also shows mobile AC refrigerant applications has witnessed high demand and accounted for 30% in the market for 2016. However, the future, of emerging natural refrigerators would likely replace the HCF’s in the both these owing and escalating demand. There is no specific reason to be focused upon, every region is likely getting focused on the market.
