Amaranth oil is a type of oil which is obtained from the amaranth seeds. Amaranth oil has a unique composition; it is rich in vitamin E, which is present in amaranth oil in a very rare tocotrienol form, which makes its antioxidant properties almost 40-50 times more than in the tocopherol form of the same vitamin. Amaranth oil consumption reduces the risk of cancer. However an overdose of Vitamin E could cause ill-effects and at the same time avoid vitamin E overdose.
