Bio polyols are also known as natural oil polyols which are extracted form natural oils such as castor oil, soybean oil, palm oil, coconut oil and others. Castor oil is directly obtained from plants but the other oils such as soybean oil, palm oil, coconut oil are extracted from plants, but still they require some chemical modifications. The end product such as adhesives, coatings, sealants depends on the process regime and reaction conditions even though the different bio polyols are extracted from the same natural oil.
